The author Xavier MATHIEU<\/strong> is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of his monographic work, a remarkable 600-page compilation of research and documentation, tracing the life and work of the genius painter, particularly in portraiture, Antonio de la Gandara.<\/p>\n

Our colleague, a member of The Society for the History of French Art<\/em>, has undertaken and successfully completed an enormous work of remembrance on his ancestor, which is revealed in this Catalogue Raisonn\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The work extends a biography published in 2011.<\/p>\n

The 800 works identified to date by Xavier Mathieu are reproduced in this publication, managed by Les \u00c9ditions Monelle Hayot\/
