“I wanted to know the history of this watch”: a day of watch appraisal in Le Mans.<\/h2>\n

Alexis Francis-Boeuf,<\/strong> in addition to serving as the UFE’s treasurer, recently founded his own watch appraisal firm after twenty-eight years spent at a major Parisian watchmaking house.<\/p>\n

While continuing close collaborations with the public auction market, particularly at Millon and Pastor, he has been developing a vast personal client network since the beginning of the year, for clients wishing to have their treasures appraised and to learn their history, especially in matters of inheritance.<\/p>\n

The article from Ouest-France, which we thank, is an excellent contribution to educating the public on the role of the expert, as an arbiter and knowledgeable authority.<\/strong> It aligns with our philosophy, which is to be, in one’s specialty, deeply imbued with a passion for the human stories linked to objects, historical and scientific culture, and a keen sense of advice, market trends, and transactions.<\/p>\n

Watches remain a safe haven asset, just like gold, Alexis Francis-Boeuf rightly states to Ouest-France. Transactions are indeed numerous and very dynamic. <\/p>\n

The UFE will soon welcome new members specializing in jewelry and watchmaking by the end of June. <\/strong><\/p>\n
