The tree that does not hide the forest
Built around the theme of the tree, the exhibition in the Grande Galerie of the Musée Hébert in La Tronche will feature works by Mario Prassinos dating from the 1930s to the 1980s from private and public collections. As can be seen in the exhibition, the theme of the tree was explored by Mario Prassinos through painting, drawing, printmaking, and tapestry…
Small-format paintings, engravings, and portraits of the artist by his photographer friends will be displayed in the Cabinet des Dessins.
A film, “Prassinos,” directed in 1969 by Lucien Clergue and produced by Pierre Braunberger / Les Films de la Pléiade, will be screened in the Salle des Fresques.

From July 3 to the end of December 2021.
Opening reception on Saturday, July 3 at 11:00 AM.
Open daily, except Tuesdays, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and until 7:00 PM on Sundays from June 1 to September 30.

On September 17, the eve of the Heritage Days, actress Mama Prassinos will read a text by François Nourissier.

The exhibition catalog will be available at the museum shop.
