His primary goal is to share his passion for sneakers while educating others on the cultural and historical importance of these collectibles .   Two examples of expertise among others: Nike Air Jordan 1 Off White Chicago 2017: Air Jordan 1 Off-White Chicago White / Black-Varsity Red SKU: AA3834-001 « The Ten » Collection Year 2017 Part of the Nike "The Ten" x Off-White collection designed by Virgil Abloh for Nike and Jordan Brand, the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 was released in the fall of 2017. Through this creation, the talented designer, who passed away in 2021, revisits the iconic sneaker. Indeed, the Air Jordan 1 Off-White features a red and white leather design, using the Chicago Bulls colors, with a deconstructed style embellished with numerous details including blue and orange stitching, and the "Off-White For Nike..." inscription on the inner side. Nike Air Jordan 1 Banned B-Grade 2011: Air Jordan 1 Banned B-Grade Black / Varsity Red-White SKU: 432001-001 Year 2011 The story of the Air Jordan 1 "Banned" is one of the most famous legends in the world of sneakers and basketball culture. In 1984, Michael Jordan signed a contract with Nike that led to the creation of the first signature shoe in the Air Jordan line. The Air Jordan 1 was officially launched in 1985. The "Banned" version refers to a specific colorway, black and red (also known as "Bred" for "black" and "red"), which was banned by the NBA. The black and red Air Jordan 1 did not comply with the rules. Every time Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 1 "Bred" on the court, he was fined $5,000. Nike decided to pay these fines, seeing it as a marketing opportunity. The idea of Jordan wearing "forbidden" shoes was used to create buzz around the brand and the shoe. One of the most famous advertisements showed the shoe with a "Banned" sign over it, reinforcing the idea that this shoe was so revolutionary that it had been banned by the NBA. This ban and the resulting advertising campaign contributed to the rebellious and innovative aura of Air Jordans, while also overshadowing the fact that Michael Jordan actually began his NBA career wearing Nike Air Ships. The Air Jordan 1 "Banned" became a symbol of defiance and individuality, which bolstered the popularity of the shoe and the Jordan brand as a whole. In summary, the mythology surrounding the Air Jordan 1 "Banned" has made this shoe an object of desire for collectors and sneaker enthusiasts, solidifying its place in the history of sneaker and basketball culture.
