Dominique Bert
Member of the Union Française des Experts (UFE) and the Chambre Européenne des Experts d'Art (CEEA), Dominique Bert has long been interested in the work of Jean Cocteau, having organized several exhibitions with accompanying catalogues in his Parisian gallery. A private collector, he has lent works to numerous exhibitions in French and foreign museums. For approximately twenty years, he collaborated with Annie Guédras who, quite naturally, entrusted him with continuing the work she had undertaken. Dominique Bert has requested and obtained the assistance of Gautier Mornas, who is very familiar with the Poet's graphic work and who collaborated with Annie Guédras on the exhibition "Jean Cocteau – Le mystère de l'ange".THE ASSOCIATION
The association "Expertise Cocteau – Archives Guédras" was founded in 2025 to ensure the preservation and enrichment of the archives compiled by Annie Guédras on the graphic and plastic work of Jean Cocteau.
It is chaired by Dominique Bert. Annie Guédras is its honorary president. Gautier Mornas serves as its general secretary.
You wish to have a work by Jean Cocteau authenticated. Following your request to the Archives Guédras for Cocteau authentication, we kindly ask you to submit your requests by email in the following manner:
- Owner's surname and first name - Postal address - Telephone - Email - a high-resolution color digital photograph (JPG, PNG, or TIFF format), - the dimensions of the work, - as well as all information regarding its provenance, history, and any exhibitions.
After reviewing the file, we will contact you regarding the authentication of the work.
A contribution towards the administrative costs of the authentication will then be requested.
