The exhibition “Fernand Léger, retour à la terre” is at the Lisieux Museum of Art and History. It is part of the Normandie Impressionniste Festival and reveals how Léger’s Norman roots, nature, and rural life served as fertile ground for his inspiration and creativity.

The curatorship was entrusted to Jean Du Chatenet, expert on the artist, and Sophie Anfray, director of the Lisieux museum division, with contributions from Benoît Noël, art historian, and Magali Guillaumin, director of the Fernand Léger-André Mare Museum in Argentan.

The UFE warmly congratulates Jean du Chatenet on the exhibition and the relevance of its subject matter and catalogue.
