Since 1994, in the world of vintage watches, Romain Réa has been an essential expert and entrepreneur. While he is interested in all kinds of timepieces, his preference is for military watches. This is undoubtedly connected to his studies in aeronautics and his time in the air force. It is therefore not surprising that his first watch was a Breitling Navitimer. Then, everything happened very quickly: from enthusiast, he became a collector, then a dealer, and finally an expert. He has been a member of the Union Française des Experts since 1997, and of the Syndicat National des Experts Professionnels en œuvres d'art et objets de collection since 2015. It was therefore quite natural that he became an expert before the Court of Appeal in 2013. Co-author of numerous works dedicated to horology, he collaborates with many watch manufacturers, such as Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre, as well as with specialized websites of international renown, which do not hesitate to call upon his expertise. Numerous auction houses also rely on his appraisal. This has given him the opportunity to organize landmark thematic watch auctions such as "Jaeger-LeCoultre, Unique Auction" held in 2011 by Artcurial Paris. Since Romain Réa took over the management of Antiquorum in 2017, a wind of renewal has been blowing through the oldest auction house dedicated to horology.A thirst for excellence and transmission

Romain Réa's two Parisian boutiques, one in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the other near the Champs-Élysées, welcome enthusiasts throughout the year. They primarily feature vintage watches, representative of an era or from the greatest manufacturers such as Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Breitling... These are high-quality models, intended for both seasoned enthusiasts and beginners. More contemporary models and jewelry can also be found there. A watchmaking workshop allows for the authentication and restoration, if necessary, of each piece that passes through.
