đđș Celebrating the legacy of Victor Vasarely in Budapest in 2026 will mark the 120th anniversary of the artistâs birth.
âWhat a pleasure to have met the Hungarian public again at the French Institute in Budapest for a moment rich in emotion and sharing,â Pierre Vasarely wrote on LinkedIn on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, as he signed his expanded book, published in Hungarian.

The event, hosted alongside ĂdĂĄm BĆsze, Hungarian presenter and writer, gave him the opportunity to look back on the visionary journey of the man who revolutionised 20th-century art and to reaffirm the importance of his Hungarian roots in his universal work.
